Each teaspoonful (5 ml.) contains:
100 mg Guaifenesin
5 mg Phenylephrine

Indicated for temporarily relieving congestion of sinuses, eustachian tubes and contiguous nasopharyngeal tissues; thinning and loosening thick mucus secretions; opening airways; and making coughs more productive.

Patient consultation should include the following information regarding the proper use of this medication:

• Do not take more medication than the amount recommended.
  
  
• Do not take monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI) while taking this medication or within 14 days of taking an MAOI.
  
  
• Avoid alcoholic drinks.
  
  
• You may experience dizziness, nervousness, restlessness, unusual weakness or trembling. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days or are accompanied by fever, consult a physician.
  
  
• Stop use and ask a doctor is you experience chest discomfort or pain, fast or irregular heartbeat or high blood pressure.
  
  
• Ask a health professional before use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
  
  
• If a dose is missed, the medication should be taken as soon as possible unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose.
  
  
• Keep all medications out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.
